What Is It?
A free, experimental participatory art workshop — open to everyone, and especially to those whose lives carry an international story.
This workshop opens a safe, unhurried space to explore memory — on your own, and together with others. Through a process that's experimental, intimate, and deeply careful, we'll turn individual memories into felt emotion, expressed through a collective sound that feels warm, honest, and freeing.
You don't need any art or music experience.

What We'll Do
Explore a memory, guided gently through an individual process.
Translate that memory into a sound or echo, and share it with the group through a gentle somatic experience.
Build your own listening artifact — a small object that can hold, amplify, or protect what you carry.
Activate your artifact in public space as a tool for listening, connection, and intimate dialogue.

Listening Artifacts Workshop: A hands-on workshop where memory is translated into sound and held inside a handmade artifact you build yourself.
7:00–8:00 PM
Mediapark Playground: Erftstraße 38, 50672 Köln
Public Activation: The Urban Listening Devices created throughout the process — by the artist and by participants — will move into public space together, activating the sounds, gestures, memories, and forms of listening gathered so far.
